The Strategic Leadership Development Program, in conjunction with USC, is an opportunity for leaders to grow in their leadership skills, strategic alignment, and team cohesion. The sessions will cover a variety of topics, including Utility Finance, Values-Based Leadership, Presentation Skills, and more!
Target Audience: The Strategic Leadership Development Program is intended for individuals in a leadership role who have attended and successfully completed The Leadership Challenge.
Enrollment: Due to limited space and frequency, enrollment for the Strategic Leadership Development Program is by nomination only.
Overview: Participants will receive coaching and feedback (via a 360 assessment) on their current leadership skills and will work with other leaders to apply what they've learned through project work in teams. Additionally, SoCalGas leaders and USC faculty will provide interactive sessions on a variety of leadership topics. Participants will leave sessions with a deeper understanding of the Strategic Leader Perspective and will be better equipped to lead their teams through change and culture-building.
Experience: Leaders will utilize a digital platform which houses all session documents, pre-work, and reinforcement learning. The three-day sessions will take place at USC, and intersessions will take place at the Monterey Park Learning Center. There is a required action learning project that will require team work outside of the classroom. The culmination of this three-month program is a graduation ceremony where teams will present their final projects to the Senior Management Team for review and feedback.
